Normal programming will be interrupted to bring you the picture of the giant Hackberry that fell over in my son’s yard around midnight during last night’s storm. It fell into an empty lot next door, but if it had fallen the other way, it would have crushed their house. I can’t think about that! The tree is so big I had to take five shots and put them in a panorama to get it all in the picture. My husband is in the last picture beside the tree, to show scale. It’s one of the many responsibilities he has, being married to a photographer.
