Shore line

PAD December 23, 2010

Lovely things happen along the shore of Radnor where the trees line the edge. The hillside above it, however, is on an unstoppable slide into the water. A huge tree had fallen over across the road and into the lake on our last walk, its root ball exposed in a tangle of roots and dark, rich dirt. I have a picture, of course, but it shall remain in the camera until I have my disc space problem sorted out.

This old tree is a beautiful sight. Too bad the deer have stripped all the bark off the bottom of the trunk.
