Happy New Year!
Today is something new – a brand new year! The pile of discarded Christmas trees from that old year, 2013, grows higher every day at Radnor Lake, and along with it, the wonderful aroma of pine. The trees will be mulched and spread on the trails. It’s lovely to walk on, and the pine smell stays for months. Which came first, the old or the new? I do have the same old resolutions. Unchanged. Might as well toss them in the Christmas tree pile, and then I could walk on them in the coming months. They would be more useful that way.
Here’s to 2014, and something new, and/or something old!
