Mardi Gras celebrations leave trees dripping with green, gold and purple beads.  At Radnor Lake during Mardi Gras this year, Mother Nature liked the idea, but used ice and silver in her decorating scheme.  Laissez les bon temps rouler!

PAD Project 2/20/2010

My grandson’s kindergarten class had a Mardi Gras party last Tuesday, complete with handmade masks, King Cake and a parade where they tossed beads. It was an elaborate affair, as evidenced by their teacher dressed to the hilt! What fun! I used a new filter, Alien Skin Bokeh, to blur the background. I’m practicing with it, trying to figure out all the nuances.
